[New York City, New York] Retna, one of the largest independent photo agencies in the world, will once again host a Celebrity Portrait Studio during this year’s Tribeca Film Festival in downtown New York City and celebrate our 5th year photographing the festival's best and brightest stars. In collaboration with BULLETT Magazine, Retna is tapping the talents of acclaimed photographer Michael Tammaro, who will be staging the shoots at his Manhattan studio (conveniently located in Chelsea) each day of the festival, which runs from April 20 to May 1.
Michael Tammaro is the perfect choice for Retna, recognized for his masterful eye and an impressive portfolio that includes stunning portraits of the world's most recognizable faces, including Tina Fey, Melissa Leo, Spike Lee, Kristen Stewart, Emily Blunt, Sting and many, many more. The Retna Portrait Studio will be held at Tammaro’s studio at 211 West 20th Street, Suite 6E, and will run from 9 AM to 8 PM throughout the Tribeca Film Festival. Expected to draw dozens of actors and directors, our portrait studio will give the festival’s participants an opportunity to publicize their films with photos that will be available through world renowned syndicate CORBIS IMAGES and Retna’s global photo services and distribution network. In addition, BULLETT Magazine, New York City's quintessential celebrity, fashion and culture publication, will be featuring Michael Tammaro's Tribeca Film Festival portraits in their highly anticipated Fall 2011 issue.
